For Immediate Release.
Philadelphia (PA) -- 10.1.2003 - Christini Technologies, the world's leading developer of All Wheel Drive technology for bicycles and motorcycles is showing off a fleet of new AWD bicycles for dealers and industry representatives at the Outdoor demo and the InterBike expo October 10-14 in Las Vegas. "Over the past year, our innovative AWD technology has captured the imagination and tested the limits of riders all over the world" states Steven Christini, founder and lead engineer at Christini AWD. "We've had favorable magazine reviews, dealer and consumer testimonials, and signed up dozens of dealers and distributors in the past few months. We expect continued growth in 2004 as new markets open to our innovative product offerings."
Indeed, 2003 has been a year of major milestones for CHRISTINI AWD:
- CHRISTINI AWD launches its long travel AWD trail bike at this year's InterBike. The CHRISTINI LT AWD series completes the offering of CHRISTINI AWD bikes and complements the CHRISTINI Full Suspension and Hardtail AWD offerings introduced last year. The new long travel CHRISTINI AWD machine will be equipped with a White Brothers VT 1.3 fork (adjustable 80mm-130mm with lockout) and a Manitou QR Rear Shock (100mm - 155mm). "This new model extends the CHRISTINI AWD experience to a whole new category of riders" states Justin Dodd, co-designer of the new AWD offering. "The long travel CHRISTINI AWD bike is designed for North Shore-type riders and will allow them to tackle new obstacles and to ride trails that have never been conquered by bikes before."
- A licensing deal executed earlier this year will see the AWD bicycle launched under the Jeep brand name shortly to a worldwide consumer group that have associated AWD with Jeep for more than 50 years.
- CHRISTINI completed its first year on the market with zero AWD drive system failures proving the quality design and engineering of the frame, fork, and AWD drive system.
- InterBike 2003 will also be the venue to showcase Christini's second generation AWD motorcycle prototype. Featuring the proprietary CHRISTINI dual-shaft design, the modified Honda CRF 450 is sure to turn heads within the motorcycle industry during 2004. "Our goal with the motorcycle is to demonstrate the CHRISTINI AWD system is technically superior to all prior AWD motorcycle attempts, including Yamaha's current hydraulic two wheel drive design" states Steve Christini. "We trail tested the first generation prototype model and actually found our bicycle development effort was directly translatable to the motorcycle. We believe that within a year, the motorcycle industry will understand that our proprietary AWD design offers greater control and safety advantages versus conventional rear wheel drive motorcycles."
